Today I’m sharing an updated version of one of my first printables! It’s a free file folder game for preschoolers.
To give my youngest son (age three) some practice with one-to-one correspondence and number recognition, I created an updated version of my ice cream game.
It’s nice to be able to keep an activity in a file folder for easy storage and reference!
When you click the link, you will find two pages of colorful ice cream cones decorated with round sprinkles. To play, just print all three pages and cut apart the numbers on the last page. If you’d like, laminate the boards and numbers and attach with clear Velcro dots.
My Three could count all the dots accurately until he got to the ice cream cones with 9 and 10 dots. For those he needed some help.
Just a few months ago he could only have gotten to three dots, so it’s exciting to see his math ability grow!

Hi Sara!
This is Kate, Anna’s assistant. I just tested the link with a gmail address and it worked. I suggest trying again with the address you already tried, and if that doesn’t work, try it with a gmail address if you have one. If you’re not using Google Chrome for your browser, you can try that. Anna’s site works best with Google Chrome. Thanks for trying these tips!
Lauren
It is not working for me either, I’m on google chrome and using gmail.

I’m sorry, we don’t have additional solutions. If you have already disabled your ad blocker, signed up for the email and can’t find it in your inbox, spam, or promotions folder, we don’t know what to say.

I LOVE this activity, but was hoping to do it as a Make it – Take it activity at my preschool. Is there any chance you have a black and white copy of the ice cream cones so i could have the kiddos color the ice cream cones as part of the activity?
THANK YOU!
Anna Geiger
Hi Kendra!
Sometimes I am able to accomodate special requests for alterations to my printables – but right now we’re enjoying a newborn and I don’t have any extra time. 🙂
Kendra Buich
Thank you for the quick response at least. I’ll try making something similar on my own! Enjoy your new baby! You can’t beat that! 😉

HI,
Do you have a version for 10-20??
Anna Geiger
No, I don’t – but I do have other printables that teach counting up to 20. You can find them on my Free Printables page: https://www.themeasuredmom.com/print-2/
Danielle
I really appreciate how you give the ages of your children and their abilities. Some of the activities are above my just turned 2 year old’s ability. I love hearing about your 2 year old and where he is at.
Anna Geiger
I’m glad that including my kids’ ages helpful for you, Danielle! I always appreciate that when I’m reading a teaching blog, too. The funny thing is that since my kids’ ages keep changing (obviously), it can be hard to track which one I’m writing about. This particular two-year-old is almost 5! 🙂
Jocelyne Bridle
My son loves ice cream cones, so I think he’ll like this one! I’m looking forward to using it with him! I’m so grateful and amazed that you’re providing this very resourceful website! It’s so thorough and has so much variety! How on earth do you find the time to do this, with 5 kids?! I admire you and am so appreciative of how you use your knowledge and skills to enhance other children’s learning. I’ll keep using your materials, that’s for sure. Until next time, Jocelyne
Anna Geiger
Thank you, Jocelyne! I very much enjoy doing this, so I make time for it whenever I can. It’s my sanity saver. 🙂 I love using everything I learned in college, grad school, and my years of teaching. It helps me enjoy motherhood even more, so long as I can find the proper balance between working and mothering… always a tricky thing!

Worked perfect! Thank you so much for your time and creativeness!
