We’ve wrapped up letter W, and we’ve moved on to letter K! (Want to know why we’re learning the alphabet out of order? Check out How to Teach the Alphabet to Preschoolers)
Letter K Printable: K is for Kite
The other morning I was trying to make bread, make yogurt, and clean the kitchen — all at once. I was going in a hundred different directions when my Three came into the kitchen and announced, “I don’t know what to do!” Rather than direct him to the playroom full of toys (as I often do), I pulled out our new Letter K printable and gave him stickers.
We’re big sticker fans at our house.
After he was done, we pulled out the Do-a-Dot markers for more fine motor practice.
Even though my Six doesn’t need to practice her letters, she came in the kitchen, bored, on a different day. She got to work with these pom-poms — I had attached magnets to the back using a hot glue gun.
And here’s another favorite way to do these pages – using power magnets.
